Antique Oil Paintings
Antique oil paintings are original works in oil on canvas, panel or copper, painted between the 16th and the 19th century. It is the medium in which almost the entire European tradition, from the Old Masters to the Impressionists, was built.
The paintings presented here span that whole tradition, from Baroque religious subjects and Grand Siècle portraits to Barbizon and Impressionist landscapes, still lifes and genre scenes. Some of them are signed, and some are presented in period frames. Each work is an authenticated original, sourced from private European collections and shipped free from France to the USA and Canada.
