Description
▾Woman in a Park
This oil on canvas depicts a woman seated in a park, holding an umbrella. The composition is set among trees and foliage, with dappled light filtering through the canopy. The brushwork is loose and attentive to the effects of natural light on the figure and the surrounding greenery, in a manner consistent with French Impressionist figure painting of the late 19th century. The painting is signed in the bottom right corner.
