Marine painting is the art of the sea, the harbor and the coast, a genre practised by European painters from the great age of sail to the harbors and sunlit coasts of the twentieth century.

The marine paintings presented here span the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, from coastal seascapes to harbor scenes and Mediterranean views, most of them signed and presented in period frames. A marine painting brings light and distance to a study, an office or a hallway. Every painting ships free from France to the USA and Canada.
