Every message is read and answered by the person who has the painting in front of them. If your question is about a painting, name it and you will get a precise answer.

We are in France, six to nine hours ahead of the United States, so a message sent in your afternoon is answered by your next morning.
Questions buyers ask us
What will I pay on delivery?
Nothing in the United States. Customs fees and the carrier's clearance charge are paid by us before the painting leaves France. In Canada, GST or HST is collected by the carrier on delivery. Delivery, customs and returns are set out in full on our shipping page.
Can I see more photographs?
Yes. The back, a corner of the frame, the signature, a detail you point to. Tell us which painting and what you want to see.
How sure is the attribution?
A painting is given to a named painter only when it is signed and the painter identified. Otherwise we say after, circle of or school of, and the listing explains what our reading rests on. If you want to know more about one painting, ask.
What comes with the painting?
An invoice in English, packed with the painting. The listing states the attribution and the condition as we read them.
How do I pay?
By card or PayPal at checkout, in US dollars.
Can I hold a painting while I decide?
Yes, for a few days. Write to us with the title of the painting.
Do you have paintings not yet online?
Many. Paintings wait here to be photographed and listed. Tell us a subject, a period or a size, and we will look.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
No. Paintings are shipped without hanging wire or hooks, and any framer fits them in a few minutes. Ask us for a photograph of the back if you want to see how the frame is made.
