Buying an Original Painting from France

GalerieClub Fine Art sells original paintings, most of them found in France and painted between the 1600s and the 1900s. The French school is the largest part of the collection, alongside Flemish and Dutch and Italian pictures.

Who am I buying from?

From the gallery itself. GalerieClub Fine Art owns every painting it sells, with none on consignment and no third-party sellers. The gallery has been registered in France since 2017. More on our about page.

Is it an original painting?

Yes. Every work is an original, painted once by hand. Most are oils on canvas or wood panel, and a few are gouaches or watercolours. No prints, no reproductions, no editions. The support is named on each page.

Are the paintings signed?

Many of the paintings are signed, and many come in their period gilt frames. Where a canvas carries no name, the school and the period take its place, as our guide to reading attribution sets out.

What does shipping cost?

Free shipping to the United States, packed by hand and tracked. Original paintings enter the US duty-free, with nothing to pay on delivery. Full terms on our shipping page.
