Around the car the red breaks into a fine white speckle that thickens into bursts of spray at the foot of each tire. In November 2020 a car split in two and burst into flames against a barrier in Bahrain. The halo held the steel away from the driver's head, and he climbed out of the fire on his own. Pansies in blue and violet, two thistles worked in white and pink, a red tulip and an orange flower shaped like a butterfly are each drawn with a fine brush and a heavy outline. Two long stems break out of the mass and cross the dark blue band at the top.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEverything around the vase is kept flat. The table is three planes of olive and brown, the wall a repeated motif, and the signature runs along the front edge of the table. Inside it lies Bagatelle, a small château built in 1777 in about two months to win a wager between the Comte d'Artois and the queen. The city later bought the estate, and peacocks still wander freely across its lawns and among its roses.
